Common Questions

Installation FAQ

Why isn't EduNet DZ on the Play Store?

Publishing to the Play Store takes time and fees. We chose to ship directly to students faster and for free. The APK download is the same app — nothing is removed or changed.

Is the app safe? What does Play Protect actually check?

Play Protect scans apps against known malware signatures. EduNet DZ passes that scan — the warning only appears because the app is new to Google's database, not because anything harmful was found.

I only see "Got it" — where is "Install anyway"?

Scroll down slightly inside the dialog, or look for "More details" and expand it. "Install anyway" appears as a text link above the "Got it" button. It may look subtle — it's not a big button.

Do I need to enable "Unknown sources" in settings?

On Android 8+, your browser will automatically ask for permission to install from unknown sources when you open the APK. Just tap "Allow" when prompted — no need to dig into Settings manually.
